In some ways it seems like magic. A drone takes still pictures (sometimes thousands) of a historic buildings. The pictures are loaded into processing software and after varying lengths of time, a three-dimensional image is created. The resulting images can be used for a variety of purposes ranging from serving as reference images to monitor changes in building conditions to assisting in building repair or restoration to use as images on websites and brochures.
